Numerical Abundance and Distribution: Usually, the highest number of individuals found at first listed location, when a species was observed at multiple locations. Actual counts when less than 20 individuals; estimates when more than 20, e.g. counted in tens; ubiq. = ubiquitous in appropriate habitat(s).

Systematics and Taxonomy: Largely follows the current (2025) AOS usage. Common name acronyms (banding codes) are given as the first letters or a unique combination of paired of letters representing the English common name, e.g. Chinese (Swan) Goose = CHGO; Ring-billed Gull = RBGU; HASH = Harris’s Hawk, etc..
